In the late 1950s, DC Comics (Superman National Comics - National Comics Publications, Inc.) published a magazine based on the Phil Silvers Show (Sergeant Bilko) television program. They produced a spin-off book about the misadventures of the TV character Private Doberman. Around the same time, they put out a comic titled Jackie Gleason and The Honeymooners but no spin-off... until our unofficial representation parody company, "Getintoon Innovative Comics - Innovative Funnytoon Productions, Inc.," did, of course! The exclusive book's title splash page graphic is related to the front cover theme. The rest of the comic contains a "Tremendous Trio" origin story chronicling the creation of the Ed And Trixie Norton Alternate Comicverse set, plus our parodies of classic comic book ads and features. Please see The Book page for comic contents info.
Our Ed And Trixie Norton Alternate Comicverse card is No. 14 of a fictional series of 66 cards issued by our Bubbles, Inc. cards parody company, "Trubbles Shrink." The series' setting is 1956.
