Abbott And Costello Comics was a series published by St. John Publishing Co. from 1948 to 1956. Not one adaptation of an A & C Universal - International movie was seen in the entire 40-issue run of the title. This exclusive unofficial representation remedies that neglect and imagines our parody company, "Quaint Juan Tubfishing Pro," put out a special "Yeahbut And Costssolo" issue in 1948 with an illustrated version of "Norehearsal - Supernatural Pictures" popular motion picture. The book’s title splash page graphic is a reduced color version of the line art. The rest of the comic contains a "Tremendous Trio" origin story chronicling the creation of the Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein Alternate Comicverse set, plus our parodies of classic comic book ads and features. The inside back cover is an ad for the fictional "McDougal's House Of Horrors" attraction setting shown in the movie. Please see The Book page for comic contents info.
Our Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein Alternate Comicverse card is No. 6 of a fictional series of 60 cards issued by our Topps Chewing Gum Co., Inc. parody company, "Tripps Strewing Some Faux Zinc."
